Sam’s club and gentlemen’s club will close on April 15.
The two venues will be located at 5500 Main St. and 3rd Avenue, according to a press release from the restaurant chain.
The move is expected to cause a disruption in the food truck market, which is already reeling from the shutdown of its sister restaurant, Liberty Boat Club, and the shuttering of other businesses like a bar, diner, and lounge.
In an email to The Verge, Sam’s President of Global Business Development Brian Bynum said the chain is taking steps to preserve its long-term health and profitability.
The company plans to continue operations on a temporary basis, Bynums statement reads.
“We know our community of loyal customers and fans will be disappointed to learn that we will be closing these two businesses at the end of April.
We are making this decision based on the business environment we are in right now and we have many other initiatives in place to support our community,” Bynsum said.
Sam’s is owned by the same parent company as Liberty Boat.
In March, Liberty announced it would close its doors after more than 50 years in business.
