Soccer fans will have a new way of identifying their favourite American jerseys when they pick up their club jerseys in the near future.
The American Football League has announced the new jersey standards for its 30 clubs.
Players are to wear white shirts and blue shorts to show they are American.
The standard uniform is called the US-AFL/USMNT jersey and the jerseys are to be worn by players of the AFL, USMNT and MLS teams.
The league is considering new standards that will allow for the jerseys to be more diverse.
The league has also unveiled a new set of uniforms for the US men’s national team.
Players will wear the jerseys with black shorts and black shoes and they will be the team’s alternate uniform.
Players of all ages will be able to wear these uniforms and they are expected to have the same style and colour as their club team.
The US men will also be able wear their clubs colours on the field, in the stands and at home.
A number of other rules are also being introduced for the league, including that players are to use the same colour of the jersey for both their own home and away matches.
The new standard will be available for purchase on the league website and the players can choose to wear them at home or away matches for a fee of €30 (£21).
