The bride of Aisha Winslow has received the highest praise of her life after she opted to wear a black and white wedding dress for her nuptials.
The 21-year-old bride from California opted to go with the color purple for her wedding to US hip hop artist and singer Aisha Winning, who is known for her style and looks.
Winning was one of the first stars to sign up for a “no style” wedding dress, with the majority of celebrities opting for more traditional wedding dresses.
In an interview with the New York Post, Winx said the gown was the most fitting and it was one she had “never worn before”.
“The dress was very comfortable and very casual,” Winx told the Post.
“It was an amazing choice and a really beautiful wedding dress.”
Winning, a Los Angeles native, said the color of the dress had a lot to do with the ceremony, but also her relationship with her husband, Drake, whom she said was “more in love” with her wedding dress.
“I’m the only one who is really in love with it, but I’m also the only person who’s worn purple before,” she said.
“The purple color was the perfect combination.
I think it really made a statement.
It made the wedding feel like it was a party, like it wasn’t just a wedding.”
So I think that was the color that I wanted to go for.
“Drake, who won three Grammys for his album Views, was reportedly one of Winx ‘s closest friends and she said the wedding was a huge moment for the pair.”
Drake is my biggest fan,” she told the newspaper.”
He’s the only thing I’ve ever had that I’ve wanted since I was young.
